Working as a florist, my life is dictated by the seasons and I like to celebrate and welcome each one, and all of the flowers each season showcases. Just as if feels that winter is very much upon us, I’m starting to crave hints of spring: bulbs peeking through in allotments, blossom popping and flowers like proud trumpet daffodils, unruly tulips and ruffled ranunculus in abundance. It’s a lovely reminder that despite the cold weather, soon warmer weather and lighter mornings will be greeting us.

As ever, we work with only the freshest, finest seasonal flowers. First, you’ll learn the essential process of conditioning the flowers. Taking care of them before you start arranging means they’ll look tip top. The tricks you’ll learn here, you can take home and use when you buy flowers for yourself and others.

Then to the fun part! We’ll work and play with a selection of seasonal flowers to create a floral design of your choice. I’ll guide you on how to style and position foliage and flowers to support them and allow them to shine in their own natural and beautiful way. You’ll walk away with something unique: a floral masterpiece made by yours truly!
